A BIT ABOUT ME

Since 2015, I have been teaching violin and viola in the Emporia, KS area. I teach both the Suzuki method (for which I am trained through book one) and fiddle lessons. I have experience playing bluegrass, Irish fiddle music, and some improvisation. In addition, my lessons include theory and ear training elements.

I have played the violin for fourteen years, and the viola for five. I teach beginners as well as intermediate students, and my studio is open to people of all ages. I take pride in teaching people who are eager to expand their minds, talents, and skills, and bring a depth of professional expertise to those who strive to excel. My lessons are personalized for each student, and I take into account what the student wishes to learn, and each student's unique learning style.
